Massage therapy is my passion. Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to help people in some capacity and you can do so much with massage. It's not only helping with pain management, but also the emotional aspect. You feel better mentally when you feel better physically and I love that we can help with that.
About Melissa
Melissa graduated from Everest College in September of 2010. After two years of practicing at STM, she took a leap of faith and bought the business. She has enjoyed seeing the office flourish to what it is today with the help of her amazing team.
Melissa has always had a passion for deep tissue and treatment massage, wanting to help people with their pain and getting to the root of the issue. She is always up for a challenge and is constantly taking more continuing education classes to put more tools in her tool belt to have more opportunities to help her patients.
She has recently become a Certified Reflexologist with training in foot, hand and ear reflexology - she loves that the body has so many different connections and is so complex that there are many ways to help. She is also certified in Intra Oral massage, cupping, prenatal, warm bamboo massage, kinesiotaping, CHABA massage and hot stone massage.
**Due to her long career as a deep tissue therapist, Melissa has stepped back from massage for the time being while she treats tendonitis in both of her hands. We are constantly wishing her the best recovery so she can get back to what she loves!**
